i will be holding a design contest over at ~POWERSofISRAEL for my lead and supporting cast to my second big story '13 OF AGE' all the details there... more then one entry allowed... i need as much designs as i can get... they'll all be showen at the comic... i will update here once in a while but it is extremely important for me that you will check that journal... put your links to that journal... and send me the link in that journal... i thank you all in edvence... and i hope to get many entries to have many side characters...

the story to turn kids into young men and women!
the story revolves around right and wrong and knowing how to tell the difference and choose between the two.
at the night of the 13th birthday every kid in israel dreams a dream of trial, to decide if he is worthy of a power, most kids don't pass the trial in the end of the dream but the few who does, get a set of powers with a set of rules. to keep those powers you must uphold those rules!

-= CONTEST =-
with the powers and rules sets they also get a set of uniform to show they are of a united force!
the cotest is to design a veriation to the costume for each one is unique.
design is very strict square shapes/straight lines/no headgear/dark purple-50% gray/golden belt golden 13ofAGE shield on chest
*there is a template for refrence for you to design on it [link]
*the shield on their chest(designs for this are also wellcome) [link]
*some veriation examples to get you started [link]

or you can come up with a whole new original piece.
the contest dead line is the 15th of june(a month and a half) but if i'll gat less then 5 entries i'll push it up(not including my designs)

*the winner will win the whole series(planned to be 12 issues) or a Hardcover/TPB as his choice and closer to the publishing date i will know if i can also offer a cash prize to delivered with the package (i don't wanna make any promises but i'll do my best!)
*the winner's design will be for the supporting characterand the second most important person in the story.
*the winner's name will appear high up in the opening credits.

**the other entries will be scattered all over the twelve issues so everybody's a winner and everyone will get full credit.
**every creator will get (hopefully) the first issue of the series signed and dedicated personally to him

hello true belivers, i will try again to keep spoilers to minimum but for god sake go and see the f**king movie!!! it was the best comics movie i've seen in my short but full life!
it was funny when funny was needed... was serious when needed... even a sappy moment... but all of it was one big fan-treat... i swear i gave iron man a grace period and went and bought the extremis story... which also kicks ass and is totally brilliant...
dawny was the best tony stark in all his douche bag glory!
never knew there was a pepper potts but i'd like to hear what happend to her...
rhodey and happy were spot on...
and i remember jarvis being the computer way back... so how is he a live butler now? argh...?
the iron suit at SDCC07 gave me nightmares and seeing it on screen was perfect... (i was screaming like a fan-girl when he eppeared on screen "i saw it in america in a stark indutries crate!!!" and earned a kick from my girlfriend on the left and from my friend on the right... oh and about a dozen "shussh")
it had everything i looked for in the movie(stan lee as yu hefner? kinda stretching it here?) and is now crowned the best movie of 2008
(not a bat-fan//not many high hopes for hulk but i will try to go first night-9th row to both!)
oh oh!!! and stay after the long-ass credits!!! it's a real whopper!!!

and for those who saw it all... i never liked the ultimate version but now i klnda do...

it was a hectic but good weekend... i might even say it was the best weekend i had this year...
as i said... i got a new girlfriend named INBAL... met her in the capoeira lessons... we played on each other's nerves for a while befor giving into passion... and this is turning out pretty good... (don't wanna jinx it)... i consider myself a great cook so i cooked breakfist and dinner for her... only compliments came after that(and other stuff you pervs! i was meaning there was no complaints)... and we went to the beach on sunday was fun... I CAN'T GET A DECENT TAN and it's driving me crazy... i hatre being too white... (it's a whole story here in israel... by tannning i degrade myself from a smart and wealthy man to a dumb non english speaking poor dude... i don't know why)
passover dinner happend somwhere on saturday night... but was super lame and ultra boring cuz all my family 'cept for an aunt and two cousins (one's 3 year old) are in moroko dancing in the streets!!! shoulda joined them...
this weekend i'm going to bombamela with inbal and the rest of the capoeira team... four days of catching sun and doing back flips and high kicks! (and yes ZIP this is a martial art! hehe) so from tomorow morning i'll be off to another long absence... plz be gentle with all the journals!

so far i'm loving it!!!! bandis kicks ass in multipule titles!!! jarvis? daredevil? dugan? all the retro looking heroes coming out of the skrull ship in the savage land... tony puking his gutts! lovin it so far!!!
i bought so many good issues this week so i'm good for a month(cost me 370 shekels for 26 issues and one TPB- about a +100$) but i also found a good second hand store that has comics but don't know their real value... i feel like i screwed the world in this purchase... i can esily estimate what i bought at over 200$... I FEEL WARM AND FUZZY!

how do you handle this secret war? likin it? hatin it?

-SUPERHERO MOVIE-
i really enjoyed this one... they followed their plot and were inventive enough to make me feel surprised here and there... the old aunt fart scene was dissgusting... and i will never look at hour glasses the same ever again... the sprinkler pee made me laugh... the suit was awesome, i really loved the design, i'll draw him next month, maybe... the intro was too long but funny to the end... the comicon joke was a little to real, thus making it extremely dissturbing for me remembering SDCC2007...
all in all not a bad movie... not very good one at that... download worthy... (hehehe)
